Support from Cornwall & Meeting the 'new' family
I have been knocked out by the support the cause has received on our travels both 'in kind' and financially. I was made really welcome by my 'new found nephews and niece' in Perranporth and it was fantastic to meet up with Chris who flew in from Calgary to join me for part of the trip. We held collections and did mini gigs at various places and met up with a number of Rotary clubs. Sam and Tony played their socks off and I did a gig at Castle Brake Touring Park nr Sidmouth. Big thanks to Amy and the staff for setting up a magnificent raffle and their welcome (and for letting us stay last night too.
While in Padstow I bumped into Peter Lawrence who is studio head for a company that does a lot of work for Pancreatic Cancer Action. He kindly sent me these pics
Chris and I motored down from Perranporth to Land's End where we were joined by Morwenna and her lovely children. Piran took the wheel while Lorna posed on the running board. It was fantastic to receive such amazing support from my 'new' family
